In the app, Settings → Write to the editors opens an email with your app version, iOS version and device already filled in, which is usually all we need to reproduce a problem. Tell us what you were doing just before it happened, and which article, if it was one in particular.
The app shows the last copy of the journal it downloaded, then refreshes when it has a connection. If the front page is empty, check that you are online and pull down on the front page to refresh. If it still fails, the journal’s server may be briefly down – try again a little later, and write to us if it persists.
Tap the bookmark in any article. The text and every photograph download to your device, and the piece appears in the Saved tab, marked “Available offline”. It then opens with no connection at all – in flight mode, underground, anywhere.
Settings → Offline shows how much space downloaded photographs use and lets you clear them. Your saved list is kept; each piece downloads again when you next open it. To remove a single piece, swipe left on it in the Saved tab.
Settings → Reading language offers English, Ukrainian, Russian, German, Italian, Spanish, French and Turkish. Articles appear in that language wherever a translation exists and in English where one doesn’t. The app’s own menus follow your iPhone’s language.
Tap AA in any article, or go to Settings → Text size. This works on top of iOS’s own text-size setting (Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size), so both apply.
Tap any photograph to open it full screen. Pinch or double-tap to zoom, swipe sideways through a gallery, and swipe down to close. The share button saves the image to Photos or sends it on.
The front page remembers pieces you started and didn’t finish. To clear the list, use Settings → Offline → Forget reading progress.
There are none. The app is free, has no sign-in, no in-app purchases and no advertising, and collects no personal data – see the Privacy Policy.
Everything the app stores is on your device. Deleting the app removes all of it. We hold nothing about you to delete.

The app runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. The website works in any current browser.
