Contributor and Submission Terms

Last updated 25 October 2026

Thank you for wanting to contribute. This page explains what you grant us and what we promise in return.

1. Who this covers

Anyone who sends material to EPRIS Journal: interview answers, photographs, texts, project details or corrections, by questionnaire form, e-mail or any other way.

2. What you confirm

That the material is yours or you have permission to send it; that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or the law; and that people identifiable in photographs know about and accept their publication where the law requires.

3. What you grant

A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to edit, translate, caption, crop, publish and archive the material, credited to you, in the journal, the website, the app, our social channels and promotional material for the journal. You keep your copyright.

4. Payment

Contributions are unpaid unless we agree otherwise in writing before publication. Nothing is published for a fee from you.

5. No obligation to publish

Sending material does not oblige us to publish it. We may decline, shorten or hold it, and will tell you where we can.

6. Withdrawal and removal

Unpublished material may be withdrawn at any time. After publication we will consider in good faith a request to remove or amend it.

7. Personal data

Contact details and submissions are used only to prepare and publish the piece and to contact you. See the Privacy Policy.
